ReplyDeleteI never try it before but i rougly know how 2 do it. I try d only tell you more details.
U wan puzzle o small picture inside big picture.
For the small picture n big picture thingy, basically u juz make d background 1st. more pictures the better la. U can simply put it o arrange it properly. I think arrange it will gv a better result but nid more time n photos la. But d only problem is not all photos are in the same ratio so not easy 2 do tat oso. U sendiri decide la.
I think u noe all those layer n masks hor. After tat get d image of d big picture, make it into grayscale/monochromatic. N den use brightness contrast level until u got the desired shape la. No nid 2 preserve all those details la as long as there is a shape n some shade can d. I mean as long as u can recognize where is her nose eyes etc...... put dis as a upper layer. change blending mode into screen/highlight ( not very sure with dis u can try out on ur own until u get d thing u wan la) n adjust d opacity oso. Then, it shud b working la. Desaturate ur background a bit if neccesary. U try it out urself la.
The puzzle part, i think u can find template on9 la. Not sure. But if it is an image, u nid 2 redraw it with illustrator. if not d line very cacat.
One more thing, if u gonna 2 print this thing. Work start with 300dpi(MUST!!!!!!!!!) and starts with cmyk mode. N make a test print 1st b4 u print it. then adjust ur monitor until u got d same color as d printed version does. n then go back 2 Photoshop 2 change those color into ur original color again. Most printed version ll slightly more yellow than u c on screen.

Anyway, I just gv u more details la. Make sure tat ur background is small enuf. If it is 2 big, d picture cannot b seen. U can use back d same photos n keep make it smaller n copy n arrange again. I use only 16 photos in this background. try 2 make it smaller than mine, I think it ll looks better.
I use darker color overlay mode for d big picture. Use level to adjust the shade. If necessary, lasso some face features n do it again. Wat i mean is, d edge of d face ll appear to be darker, so d u might loss some details on d face such as nose n eyes. After u adjust to d proper shade for d shade, lasso those other face features n do d adjustment again. Make it darker so tat d shade is bout d same as d edge n preserve those details.
Aftet tat, u can create another layer on top. put blending mode as overlay and den choose light orange 2 paint d face. I realise tat i make it looks less weird. After d coloring d color shud appear 2 b a layer tinted on d surface of d face n keep going 4 lighter orange if d color is 2 dark n it destroys d details.

I think don make d face 2 big oso la. Until neck like tat shud b ok. 2 big looks very scary n a bit like photo put in front of lorry. Zzzzzzzz
